PHOENIX — In 2004 the Flood Control District completed a Fee Services Study to determine how fees were covering costs to review and issue floodplain use permits. Results of that study determined the District would implement slight increases to the permit application fees over a three-year period. After that the fees would be adjusted on a fiscal year basis per the National Consumer Price Index.
In keeping with the lean economy, the fees applicable for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 will not increase and are set at the rates indicated for July 2008 as found in the Floodplain Regulations for Maricopa County.
