The public service announcement (PSA) is a highly visible means by which the Flood Control District conveys flood safety messages to the residents of Maricopa County. These informative PSAs are broadcast on Phoenix television station KPNX-TV Channel 12, posted on The Arizona Republic newspaper's Web site, www.azcentral.com, and used by municipalities on their community cable-access channels.
