The Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) contracts for various professional services (i.e. engineering, architecture, appraisals, etc.) required by Maricopa County related to the design, construction, reconstruction and remodel of County and public structures, facilities and lands. These services are procured in accordance with the Maricopa County Procurement Code Article 5. In order to be registered as a Maricopa County vendor for professional or construction services, businesses should be listed on the Article 5 Register. To register visit the Maricopa County Article 5 Register.

The District encourages and promotes participation of small business enterprises (SBE) in procurement activities, and strives to assure fair and equitable access to contracting opportunities. An SBE is defined as having fewer than 100 full-time employees or having gross annual receipts of less than $4 million in the previous fiscal year.
