The Prioritization Procedure is the District's annual evaluation process for recommending potential new Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. Potential CIP projects may be identified by the District's customer agencies such as cities, towns and other county or state agencies, or through other District programs. The Prioritization Procedure is accomplished in two major steps. A committee of District staff evaluates newly proposed projects according to the predetermined and weighted criteria identified in the project process. The second step is the budgeting and scheduling of projects for inclusion in the District's five-year CIP.
