Installation Instructions
Upgrade DDMSW from version 1.5 or 1.6 to version 1.8 (if you already have DDMSW 1.5 or 1.6 on your current PC):
Step 1 Click here and choose "Save this program to disk" to download the self-extracting file DDMSW18UPGRADE.EXE (3,705,437 bytes or 3.53 MB) to a folder (for example, c:\temp) on your PC.
Step 2 Double-click on DDMSW18UPGRADE.EXE to self-extract files at the folder (for example, c:\temp).
Step 3 Locate Setup.exe at the folder (for example, c:\temp) and double-click on Setup.exe to upgrade your existing DDMSW 1.5 or 1.6 to DDMSW 1.8.
Install full version of DDMSW 1.8 (if you do not have DDMSW 1.5 or 1.6 on your current PC):
Step 1 Click here and choose "Save this program to disk" to download the self-extracting file DDMSW18FULL.EXE (25,889,851 bytes or 24.6 MB) to a folder (for example, c:\temp) on your PC.
Step 2 Double-click on DDMSW18FULL.EXE to self-extract files at the folder (for example, c:\temp).
Step 3 Locate Setup.exe at the folder (for example, c:\temp) and double-click on Setup.exe to install DDMSW 1.8.
Install full version of DDMSW 1.8 (even if you already have DDMSW 1.5 or 1.6 on your current PC; this is not recommended):
Step 1 Launch your older version of DDMSW, and follow the steps of "File" ==> "Management" ==> "Backup Project" to backup all your previous projects. All these backup projects are in "zip" format and located in c:\ddmsw\backup\. Copy all these "zip" files to a different location in your PC (not under ddmsw folder).
Step 2 Uninstall your older version of DDMSW.
Step 3 Click here and choose "Save this program to disk" to download the self-extracting file DDMSW18FULL.EXE (25,889,851 bytes or 24.6 MB) to a folder (for example, c:\temp) on your PC.
Step 4 Double-click on DDMSW18FULL.EXE to self-extract files at the folder (for example, c:\temp).
Step 5 Locate Setup.exe at the folder (for example, c:\temp) and double-click on Setup.exe to install DDMSW 1.8.
Step 6 Launch DDMSW 1.8 you just installed and import your previously backed-up projects into the system ("File" ==> "Management" ==> "Import Project").
