The Health Status Report (HSR) is a series of tables detailing statistics on important health indicators in Maricopa County including communicable diseases, births, causes of deaths, and causes of hospitalizations. There are several report formats available including a single year snapshot, by city/town, by district, and a five-year trend report. There is also data available on behavioral factors such as smoking, exercise, and healthy eating available under the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) header.
Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Countywide Reports
The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) report shows the prevalence of health behaviors, medical conditions and preventive health care practices among adults by age, gender, race/ethnicity, education, household income and region.
Yearly Snapshot The yearly snapshot includes only one year of data, but has more statistics on sub-populations such as data by gender, race/ethnicity, age group, etc. For the most recent data report, please see the Community Health Status Report.
