The future lies in how we consume the power we produce. As one of the largest counties in the country, Maricopa County wants to set an example to our communities on the importance of doing our part to create a sustainable future.

Major Goals

Goal 1
By July 2023: Complete an EV infrastructure plan for the appointed departments and adopt recommendations and a timeline for converting a portion of the county fleet to electric vehicles.

Goal 2
By December 2026: Maricopa County's appointed departments fully implement the EV Infrastructure Plan with milestone checkpoints in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
