Animal homelessness is a community issue that requires community support. Thank you for considering Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) for your event! Whether you’d like to host activities on or offsite MCACC events, we greatly appreciate your support.
Before Submitting an Event Request
Please know that MCACC would love to accommodate all supportive requests. Our capacity is dependent on proactive planning, staff availability and external resources.
MCACC requires a minimum of 45 days advance notice for each event request to determine if appropriate resources are available and the request aligns with MCACC protocols.
Due to safety concerns related to Arizona’s extreme weather as well as shelter operations and capacity, MCACC typically does not manage events during the months of April through September.
MCACC event participants must be 18 years or older. For those adults who would like to participate with accompanying minors over the age of 12, parental/legal guardian consent forms must be signed and submitted prior to event day.
MCACC events do best with marketing support from the event requestors. Financial donations are not required but greatly appreciated. In-kind donations are appreciated, however, please see the MCACC Amazon Wish Lists as not all in-kind donations are beneficial to our shelter animals.
The MCACC Events Team reviews new requests bimonthly. You will receive a confirmation (or decline) email within 3 weeks of your submission.
