How to Obtain a Permit

The Flood Control District cares about the health of our customers, employees, and the community.

To that end, we are taking steps to reduce foot traffic in county buildings and request customers to conduct their business electronically.

The following options are available for customers to submit permit applications:

Directory of Documents

The Floodplain Directory of Documents has a compilation of Ordinances, Codes, Substantive Policy Statements, References and Resources that may be of use in the preparation of your Floodplain Use Permit submittal documents. This list is updated as-needed and reviewed on a regular basis.

Right-of-Way Use Permits

If you need a Right-of-Way Use Permit, go to the ROW Use Permit page for more information.

Submittal Checklist

To help you complete the application, a detailed submittal checklist is available to guide you through what is required to be included with the application. The checklist is used in conjunction with the Floodplain Regulations and the Fee Schedule, which is included in the regulations as Appendix A.

Should you have any questions or need assistance throughout the application process, or if you are unsure about where your property is located, please contact our Development Services office at 602-506-2419 or by email.
