Maricopa County employees love giving back to the community, and this summer, they are helping to quench the thirst of some of the county's must vulnerable residents.
Employees donated 35,802 bottles of water during the "Maricopa County h20 18 Challenge." The annual water donation campaign provides crucial resources to the Health Care for the Homeless Clinic on the Human Services Campus. This year's donation totals far exceed the 2017 campaign, which collected 21,146 water bottles. While the entire county workforce chipped in, the following departments donated the most water:
- Department of Transportation: 4,826 bottles
- Human Services: 4,792
- Human Resources: 4,600
- Northeast Justice Courts: 3,672
Maricopa County is proud of its employees for their role in filling a critical community need!
